Katie Cornog is a retired computer engineer based in Medford, Massachusetts. She spent her career using mathematics and software to extract meaning from video and images—skills that reflect her lifelong interest in visual imagery. “I grew up in a family that encouraged a love of both science and art. My mother was an artist and my father was a pathologist,” she says. “After a fulfilling career in engineering, I’m now grateful to focus my time on painting.”

She has studied watercolor painting in the Boston area with several teachers, notably Gary Tucker, Marion Hall, and Paul George. Her work has been exhibited in many Boston area shows. She is a juried member of the North Shore Art Association, artist member of Boston North Artists, Newburyport Art Association, Newton Watercolor Society, New England Watercolor Society, and Arts Medford.
